USEFUL INFORMATION


Paradu Tuscany EcoResort takes guests health at heart!
We have chosen to equip ourselves with a defibrillator, a medial devise which restores heartbeat, located in the beach-pools area. Our staff has carried out first aid and fire prevention courses and can operate in case of emergency. A Doctor is available for guests for 1 hour per day 6 days a week.



Pets not allowed.




Check in requirements:  according to Italian law (Art. 6 Law 17 May 1983, 217) managers of hotel facilities cannot accomodate individuals, regardless of age, who do not provide identity card or other appropriate document certifying their identity as required by current regulations.



FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS



WHAT TIME ARE CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT?

Check-in is from 4:00 pm and from that time we ensure availability of the booked accommodation. Our guests are welcome to arrive sooner if they prefer, from 11:00 am approximately, so they can carry out check in procedures and balance payment for their stay. All  Resort facilities are available for them to enjoy (pools, beach, bars, restaurants, etc.), and as soon as possible we will deliver the keys. Check out is within 10:00 am. On departure day accommodation will remain at your disposal until 10:00 am. Please return keys to the Reception by then. Late check out can be requested at least 24 hours before departure and is subject to availability and extra charge. Luggage service is not provided at check out so please reach the shuttle stop nearest to you if you need transportation to the Reception.


WHERE ARE CHALETS AND LODGE TENTS WITHIN THE RESORT AND WHAT IS THEIR DISTANCE FROM THE SEA?

You can see a map of the Resort and download it in PDF format directly from our website in the “Map and Fact Sheet” section. The chalets that end with the number 0 are Studio Chalets "Montecristo"; the chalets that end with the number 1 are 2-bedroom Chalets  "Pianosa". Connecting Montecristo and Pianosa results in a Chalet "Elba". Therefore all "Montecristo" chalets are placed adjacent to a "Pianosa" chalet. Lodge Tents end with the number 5 and are placed just along the red and the blue areas of the Resort.  The maximum distance that a chalet/lodge tent can be from the sea, the swimming pools and the restaurants is approximately 500-600 meters. On the map you can also see the shuttle route throughout the Resort from morning to night which guarantees connection of all areas to the beach, the pools and all other services and activities of the Resort.


IS IT POSSIBLE TO CHOOSE ONE’S ACCOMMODATION?

You cannot choose or decide which chalet or lodge tent will be assigned when booking because assignment of accommodation takes place at arrival in order to reduce waiting time at check-in. However, our guests can inform us of their preference and make requests that will be included in reservations as special notes. We cannot guarantee these requests will be satisfied, but we will try our best to accommodate all guests according to their preferences based on availability.


YOU CAN RENT THE CAMPING COT?

The camping bed for children can be provided for free by Paradù if requested at time of reservation, or, if available, it can be requested upon arrival. For all Pianosa chalets, the cot is not recommended because of limited space.


IS LINEN INCLUDED?

The first supply of linen and towels is included in all accommodation. Also provided are 2 rolls of toilet paper. Kitchen linen (tablecloth, napkins, towels etc.) are not included nor available. If guests choose to purchase the "Hotel Services Package" they will be entitled to daily cleaning of the chalet (excluding kitchenette) with daily change of towels.


DO WE CARRY OUT PEST CONTROL?

During the winter, before the opening of the summer season, we carry out fumigation against insects and rodents within the area of the Resort. Please note doors and windows of chalets and tents are not provided with mosquito nets. Please take note that the resort is located inside an area of proteced woodland and that it is not allowed to feed the animals or leave food outside.


IS THERE IS A SHUTTLE TO GO OUTSIDE THE RESORT?

The Paradù shuttle service passes only throughout the Resort. A shuttle service from Paradù towards places of interest outside the Resort is not provided. Guests who need to travel from or to the nearest railway station can contact the taxi services of Donoratico or  San Vincenzo. Public transport of neighboring towns does not include Paradù Resort in its routes. Being very small villages, public transport of the area is very limited and, in many cases, does not reach most of the tourist attractions.
