FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS


WHAT TIME ARE CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT?

Check-in time is from 4:00 pm - from this time onwards availability of the booked accommodation is guaranteed and keys can be collected at the Reception. Our guests can reach the Resort earlier to register and balance their stay. All services of the Resort are available to them while waiting for their accommodation to be available. 

Check out is by 10:00 am on departure day. Services remain available for guests even after checking out of accommodation.


WHERE ARE CHALETS/LODGE TENTS AND WHAT IS THEIR DISTANCE FROM THE SEA?

You can see a map of the Resort and download it in PDF format directly from our website in the “Map and Fact Sheet” section. The chalets that end with the number 0 are Studio Chalets Montecristo; the chalets that end with the number 1 are two-bedroom Chalets  Pianosa. Connecting Montecristo and Pianosa results in a Chalet Elba. Therefore all Montecristo are placed adjacent to a PianosaElba with connecting door between Montecristo and Pianosa are always considered as independent chalets and are located in the central area between red and blue areas and some are located in the yellow area. Chalets ending with the number 2 are two-room Chalets Capraia. Lodge Tents end with the number 5 and are placed in the green, red and the blue areas of the Resort. The maximum distance that a chalet/lodge tent can be from the sea is approximately 550 meters. IS IT POSSIBLE TO CHOOSE ONE’S ACCOMMODATION?

You cannot choose or decide which chalet or lodge tent will be assigned when booking because assignment of accommodation takes place at arrival in order to reduce waiting time at check-in.


CAN I ARRIVE ANY DAY OF THE WEEK?

Between June 16th and September 7th arrivals and departures can be only on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. For the rest of the season (19thy May - 6th October) arrivals and departures can be any day of the week.


IS IT POSSIBILE TO RENT A CAMPING COT?

For guests who have booked a stay with Hotel Services, the camping cot for children can be provided for free by Paradù if requested at time of reservation, or, if available, upon arrival.

For guests who have booked a stay in Residence Formula, rental of a camping cot requires a supplement of 5,00 euro per day. Rental is nonetheless subject to availability at moment of request.

For all Pianosa chalets, the cot is not recommended because of limited space.


IS LINEN INCLUDED?

The first supply of linen and towels is included in all accommodations independently of the booked formula. Kitchen linen (tablecloth, napkins, towels etc.) are not included nor available.Guests who have booked a stay with Hotel Services are entitled to daily cleaning service (excluding kitchenette) with daily change of bathroom linen.

For guests who have booked a stay in Residence Formula daily leaning and linen changes are available with a supplement and can be requested at the Reception.


DO WE CARRY OUT PEST CONTROL?

During the winter, before the opening of the summer season, we carry out fumigation against insects and rodents within the area of the Resort. Windows of chalets and tents are provided with mosquito nets.


IS THERE IS A SHUTTLE TO GO OUTSIDE THE RESORT?

The Paradù shuttle service passes only throughout the Resort. It is available every day from morning to night. I reaches all the service areas (Reception, Restaurant, Pool and Beach) and the areas where the Chalets are located. The route is shown on the map as well as the stops. MAP.

A shuttle service from Paradù towards places of interest outside the Resort is not provided.Guests who need to travel from or to the nearest railway station can contact the taxi services of Donoratico or  San Vincenzo. Public transport of neighboring towns does not include Paradù Resort in its routes. Being very small villages, public transport of the area is very limited and, in many cases, does not reach most of the tourist attractions.


IS THERE PORTERAGE SERVICE?

Porterage service at check in is available and complimentary.   

At check out the service needs to be booked and results in a supplement (€ 10,00).

The shuttle service is available and complimentary also for check out. Simply reach the stop with your luggage and get off at the Reception.


IS IT POSSIBLE TO PURCHASE A CANCELLATION PENALTY COVERAGE?

With our PARADÙ CANCELLATION PENALTY COVERAGE you are financially covered in the unfortunate event you are forced to cancel your stay. Should a booked stay be cancelled, cancellation penalties can be redeemed in accordance with EU standards through this coverage supplement which you can purchase at the cost of € 10,00 per day per room. The total payment of the coverage fee must be made together with the booking confirmation deposit. Further information can be found in the section “Taylor-made Holiday”.


IS DEPOSIT REQUIRED AT ARRIVAL?

A credit card as guarantee will be requested at check in. In case a credit card is not available, a deposit of € 150,00 cash will be required.


ARE ANIMALS ALLOWED?

No, animals are not allowed inside the Resort, even small ones.
